Meet the Doctor

Dr. Howard B. Fox D.C., Q.M. E.  Attended SUNY Albany and is a Cum-Laude Graduate of the prestigious Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.  His undergraguate degree is a B.S. in Human Biolgy.  After serving as the chief clinical representative for the famed Glendale Clinic in 1988, He began his quest for an integrated chiropractic sports rehabilitation center in south Orange County.  Today he continues to advance new approaches in chiropractic rehabilitation, including diversified manipulation, biophysics technique, sacral occipital technique, Mackenzie disc technique, all combined with balance, proprioception, and the muscle coordination work of Vladimir Janda.

Dr. Fox has served as an adjunct professor for both Cleveland College of Chiropractic and Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.   His belief is that "the role of chiropractic care within the framework of the musculoskeletal medical system is the new chiropractic paradigm" as such we work with the top surgeons, and diagnostic facilities in Southern California to provide the best of care for our patient's and a piece of mind for them that someone is their advocate within the expanse of the medical system.

In 1989 he began working with the flying doctors group Missions to Baja, evaluating and treating patients in remote areas of rural mexico. This type of medicine forces the doctor to not rely on advanced diagnostics and improve both history taking and physical evaluation skills as well as increasing ones appreciation for the tools and lifestyle that we enjoy in Southern California.

From 1989-1992 he served on the Board of Directors for the Better Health Consortium: An group dedicated to reducing work place injuries with lifting and bending programs, seated desk worker safety programs, and coordination of health and safety programs.  He individually lectured to companies from Pacific Bell to Nordstrums. "Teaching people how to prevent both acute and cronic injury is at least twice as satifing as fixing an existing problem".  This work lead to the development of the pnumatic ladder handling system design for lowering ladders from truck roofs, preventing thousands of injuries and savign millions of lost manpower hours.

He is a San Juan Capistrano resident and is actively involved in the Ronald McDonald House Charities, and has an annual "Camp Pendolton Mud Run" fund raiser for the American Heart Association that has raised $50,000.00 dollars over that last three years. His children have been taught the giving spirt and this year his 7 year-old and her friends helped shave his head when he reached his fund raising challange to his patients. We try to get others to understand that if we each put out a little bit for the greater good we can achieve fantastic results and funny hair.

He has taken this attitude into the latest addition to the faciity, Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression, which allows people to regain activity levels they thought they would never see again.
